Egg Transport Planning was formed by Stephen Flacke in 2020. With more than 20 years’ experience of transport planning consultancy work behind him, Stephen has been involved in a wide range of transport planning projects nationwide for both the public and private sectors. He has advised developers, town planners and architects and now works almost exclusively for private sector clients producing supporting documents for planning applications and providing advice on the transport aspects of proposals.
Stephen understands that developers do not want a Transport Assessment or a Transport Statement – they simply want planning permission, in the most cost-effective and quickest way.
With an Honours degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Manchester, Stephen is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT).
Passionate about delivering a high-quality service in order to benefit his clients, Stephen is well placed to advise potential clients on their transport planning requirements.
As a privately owned, independent consultancy, Egg Transport Planning is not constrained by the pressures of achieving large profit margins. Potential clients can be assured that, with Egg Transport Planning, they would receive the best advice and therefore, the highest chance of obtaining planning permission.
Stephen is married with two daughters and lives in the beautiful Cheshire town of Poynton. He enjoys walks in the countryside, occasional runs, socialising and the occasional beer. He has worked across the world from Australia to Edinburgh, London to Manchester and New Zealand. A seasoned traveller, Stephen has also spent time in South East Asia, South America and India. He has also lived in Poland for a time.
